Innovations in the world of beer: beyond the classic

Since in 2015 the most respected guide in the beer universe updated its classification, the panorama of the styles has launched a quiet but powerful revolution. New styles, almost always in prototype stage, emerge strongly and challenge the traditional perception of what a good beer can be. These categories, in the official draft stage, are not only accepted in competencies but also open their way to unlimited experiments.

The rebirth of emerging styles

Today’s chapter focuses on five novel styles that, although they are still in an improvement phase, are leaving a mark on breweries and fans equally. From the fruit trend of the soft and juicy IPA, to the beers with a more maltious and robust body character, the variety seems to have no end.

A twist to the classic American IPA

The so -called Specialty IPA, or more colloquially, the New England IPA, has come to stay. Its main objective: an experience of flavor that returns the feeling of biting a ripe fruit in each sip. The key lies in an aromatic profile that explodes in fruit notes of tropical fruits, citrus and bone fruits, achieving a perfect balance between softness and an intense but non -overwhelming lupulate character.

What’s in the Cup?

Visually, these beers surprise by their color that can vary between a pale yellow and a soft orange, with a murky appearance that induces to think about fresh fruit. The foam, creamy and lasting retention, crowns a sensation in the mouth that is half in full, with a fluid character and without marked roughness. The aroma of hops and fruit is so prominent that it invites to devour the fruit itself, without herbaceous or grain notes that can be distracted.

The art of balancing with malt and hops

The main flavor comes from hops, with an intensity that brushes the very high, but without becoming rough or sharp. Malta, on the other hand, usually offers a neutral touch, with bread notes or with a soft sweetness that helps to soften the experience. The purity of the ferment, combined with a dry end and a sensation in the mouth that avoids viscosity, make this beer extremely drinkable and refreshing.

For lovers of intense and amber malt

The Burton Ale style, a classic with history

Not everything is fruit and fresh. The Burton Ale represents a tradition that returns strongly, with a marsh character and an aromatic profile that combines toasted notes with a deep sweet. This style, which in his time was the queen of the United Kingdom, presents a complete and chewable body, speaking of a past where beer was almost an aromatic desktop.

THE PERFECT MALTA AND HOPUL BALANCE

With an aroma that combines dried fruits, bread notes and a moderate sweetness, the Burton Ale slides in the palate with roasted flavors, but without becoming aggressive. Su final, que puede variar desde un toque dulce hasta un amargor moderado, invita a una compañía prolongada. Una cerveza que refleja historia y tradición, perfecta para quienes buscan algo con carácter y profundidad.

Fermentation revolution: catharina sour and its tropical freshness

A refreshing acidity experience

The catharina sour style comes from Brazil, combining the acid touch of lactic fermentation with the freshness of the fruit. It is a light beer, bubbly, and that becomes a kind of healthy cocktail and full of life. La fruta, ya sea tropical o de temporada, domina el perfil sensorial, mientras que la acidez actúa como un espejo que refleja la calidad en cada sorbo.

Elaboration and curiosities

Since its creation in Santa Catarina in 2015, this beer has grown in acceptance, partly by its method of boiled acidification and for the use of fresh fruit post -fermentation. The key is in a delicate balance that invites you to explore flavors without uncontrolling acidity.

The charm of the hops in New Zealand

An exotic aromatic adventure

New Zealand Pilsner beers, or New Zealand Pilsner, stand out for their distinctive aromatic profile. With a range of bitterness that goes from the middle to high, these beers exhibit citrus, tropical and herbal notes from hops such as Motueka or Nelson Sauvin. They are refreshing, with a soft mouth sensation, and a bright appearance that invokes a perpetual summer.

Perfectly balanced and with history

Its history, which begins in the 90s, reflects the rise of unique varieties in the region. The formulation of these beers, with carefully selected ingredients and with a clean and neutral fermentation, allows the tropical and citrus character to shine without being overshadowed.

In short, these novelties represent a ceramics in constant movement, where innovation and respect for roots merge to offer unique brewer experiences and for all tastes.
